The Lake Zurich Lions will sponsor the 21st Annual "Holiday Bazaar & Market" on November 7th, 2009 at the Spencer Loomis School, on the corner of Old McHenry Road & Abbey Glenn Drive, in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

This event draws artisans and crafters from several counties to display and sell there wares. In recent years, as many as 150 vendors have exhibited at this event, covering the floors of both gymnasiums and hallways of the Spencer Loomis School. The "Holiday Bazaar & Market" makes it possible for our local residents to buy unique and creative holiday items for themselves and special gifts for their relatives and friends.

The funds raised at this event, including the "Dollar For Scholars" Raffle help support the Lake Zurich Lions "Dollar For Scholars" scholarship program. "Dollar For Scholars", unlike other scholarships programs that are offered, include vocational education and athletics as priorities. The most important ingredient in the decision making process is the financial needs of the candidates.
